Aluminium Soldering Flux 10mL
Aluminium soldering flux is used for soldering aluminium to aluminium, aluminium to copper or brass and terminals by using soldering iron.
By simple tech steps, flux can be used in the laboratory, workshop or at home, easy soldering can be done in a few seconds.
Features:
- High activity.
- Compatible with all tin alloys even 40/60 alloy.
- 10mL is enough for soldering a lot of terminals of lithium polymer battery and thin aluminium strips in a few seconds with the usage of soldering iron (Min. 60 Watt) at room temperature (25 Celsius).
- The post-solder residues can be cleaned with water.
- Mildly acidity.
Usage Recommendations:
1. Clean the surface with thinner (without any residues or dust).
2. Shake before using then put a little bit of flux before soldering.
3. Use a soldering iron compatible with the target size (Min. 60 watts).
4. Use any Tin-Lead alloy and 40/60 alloy.
5. Keep the soldering tip for enough time on the soldering area till the Weld pool has been reached (Min. 20 sec.) because the weld pool is central to the success of the soldering process.
Notes:
- For best results, follow the usage recommendations.
- If the power of the soldering iron (watt) is high, the soldering will be fast and high quality.
- Use water or any solvent such as, thinner or any alcohol for cleaning.
- Use a wet soldering sponge & mini wire brush while cleaning the tip.
- It is preferable to train your hand on soldering aluminium strips in different sizes, because soldering aluminium or aluminium alloys has a specific technique, and it is one of the most inert chemical affinity metals with oxygen (very oxygen-bonded!).
Safety Precautions:
- Wearing safety glasses and gloves is recommended when using.
- Perform the process in a well-ventilated area.
- Don’t breathe soldering fumes.
- Use enough water when eyes or wounds are touched.
- Keep the bottle tightly closed after using & keep it away from children.

The flux is a viscous liquid, packaged in a plastic bottle with, a capacity of 10mL.
