Description of MQ-8 Hydrogen Gas Sensor
MQ-8 is a Metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) type sensor from the series of MQ gas sensors (MQ-2, MQ-3, MQ-4, and so on). The module is highly sensitive to Hydrogen gas and can be used to detect any leaks or presence of Hydrogen gas in the air.

- AO – Analog Output
The Digital Output D0
With the help of the potentiometer placed on the reverse side of the board, set is the threshold above which the output D0 is changed from a high to a low status. The output D0 can be linked directly witha microcontrolleror commissioning set, including Arduino, or for example, with a module of a buzzer which will signal too low or high level of gasesin the air.
Analog Output A0
The sensor has an analog output A0 which must be connected to the pin of the converter A/D (of analog input inArduino). This will allow you to measure the proportional voltage signal and more accurately determine the concentration.
